Description

We are happy to announce this co-publication with The Neuropathy Association to celebrate their fifteenth year anniversary. The Association is a public, nonprofit organization established in 1995 in New York City for those living with this condition. The association has over 50,000 active members and supporters, and runs 120 support groups nationwide.

People living with peripheral neuropathy can be weary of exercise and other complementary and alternative medicines, as they are afraid of aggravating their pain. Also, since doctors may still not recommend exercise, many people with PN have the wrong information on exercise and other alternative treatments in regards to their neuropathy.

It is now established that not exercising does more damage to people with peripheral neuropathy than light exercise. This book addresses the confusion concerning exercise, alternative treatments and PN. Each chapter is written by a leading medical expert in the subject, and covers yoga, Tai Chi, acupuncture, massage, biofeedback, herbal remedies and much more! All of these can be used to lessen the discomfort associated with the disease.

Peripheral Neuropathy will be the first book on the market to address these particular concerns, and will be of great use to those living with PN."
